Bad Bunny, the real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio became popular from a supermarket employee in Puerto Rico to a famous Latino trap and reggaeton singing artist by his art on SoundCloud. He has been compared to many notable figures in Latin music, including Diego Torres, Tito El Bambú, and La Guaracha.

He has also recorded and toured with fellow Puerto Rican artist Luis Fonsi under the name Luis "Gato". He has released a number of albums with his various groups, all of which have seen positive reviews from critics. The first album in his group is titled The Return and it was released in 2006. It featured the singles "I Am a Bad Bunny", "Nuestra Estación", and "Como Tu Vez". The second album, titled, L.A.R.Y., was also released but was received with mixed reviews. This was followed by the third album titled La Muerte and this album was very well received by critics, although it failed to sell well. His fourth album entitled, Eterno was made available for free on iTunes in August 2010.
